Living Life Richer

Welcome to K-State Research and Extension's new set of materials on Living Life Richer. Thanks to Extension Agent in Family and Consumer Sciences (newly retired), Donna Martinson, for being the lead in creating this resource. We welcome your reader responses to this blog on how these materials are being used in your community education efforts. However, we hope that all participants in Living Life Richer will complete the evaluation questions in the "Supplemental Materials" # MF2934, and return to me as indicated. We hope to hear from you.

I can see lots of possibilities with using the Living Life Richer materials. Many times we are asked to present a program to a civic or service group and they want something "fun." This program is packed with lots of great motivational pieces without coming off like a lecture.... Just the other day my husband and I were talking about several people we have encountered lately who are not happy with their job/situation in life. Just sharing the living life richer statements (supplemental materials) creates some positive thinking. I am ordering the book Switch, and am anxious to read it!

Tonight during our walk Jill told me that her co-worker Alli Burns used Living Life Richer with groups at two senior centers and they LOVED it! Alli wasn't able to take the training but she was still able to put it to good use. I am so glad that it was user-friendly and that the groups responded positively. What a relief! I just had to share the good news. Donna
